Chris was born in 1988 in Norwood Massachusetts. After moving to Mashpee Massachusetts, a small town on Cape Cod, he attended public schools throughout his primary education. During his time at Mashpee High School Chris became heavily involved in the music program, his senior year he substituted while the Music Director was on an extended leave. Chris graduated in 2006.
While in school Chris was introduced to community service first through his parents, then through the Boy Scouts of America. He spent countless hours volunteering at his local Boys and Girls Club and working in other community programs. At the age of sixteen he was awarded the Youth Volunteer of the year award and the following year was honored with the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year. Though out years of Community Service he has met and earned the trust of countless local leaders.
Chris entered Rhode Island College right after high school where he fell in love with the College, both for its intimate campus and friendly community. Coming from a small town Chris feels right at home on Campus. Now in his third year at RIC, Chris has taken on double majors in Finance and Economics. In his spare time Chris enjoys the outdoors, no matter the season there is always an adventure to be found.
As the Treasurer of Student Community Government, Inc. Chris is actively seeking to increase the amount of technology that is available to organizations. In doing so he believes that organizations will be able to work much closer and have more accurate information. If all goes as planned the organizations will spend less time filling out paperwork leaving more time to plan and host events. Much to the chagrin of the Vice President all this technology also will drive the Corporation into a much greener future.
